Basea Media Web Design & Online Marketing Services

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the agreement between Basea Media (“the Company”, “we”, “us”) and the client (“you”, “the Client”) for all web design, web hosting, maintenance, and online marketing services.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services Provided

Basea Media provides the following services:

Website design
Website hosting and maintenance
Digital & online marketing services
Social media setup and management
Graphic and content-related services

Specific service details, timelines, and pricing are defined in individual proposals or quotations.

3. Payments & Fees

A deposit (typically 50%) is required before any project work begins.
Remaining balance is due upon project completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Monthly services (hosting, maintenance, marketing) are billed monthly.
Late payments may result in service suspension.
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.

4. Project Timeline & Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

Provide all necessary content, images, and information promptly.
Approve designs and deliverables within reasonable timeframes.

Delays in providing required materials may affect project timelines.

5. Revisions & Scope of Work

The project scope is defined in the approved quotation.
Reasonable revisions are included.
Additional work outside the agreed scope will be billed separately.

6. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Basea Media retains ownership of all design files, source code, and materials until full payment is received.
Upon full payment, the Client is granted full usage rights to the completed website and materials.
Basea Media may showcase completed work in its portfolio.

7. Hosting & Domains

Hosting services are subject to third-party providers’ availability and policies.
Basea Media is not responsible for downtime caused by hosting providers, cyber-attacks, or technical failures beyond our control.
Basea Media will handle domain registrations and renewals unless otherwise stated.

8. Cancellation & Termination

Monthly services may be cancelled with one calendar month’s written notice.
Once a project has started, deposits are non-refundable.
No refunds for work already completed.

9. Limitation of Liability

Basea Media shall not be liable for:

Business losses, loss of data, or loss of revenue.
Indirect or consequential damages.
Any damages exceeding the total amount paid for the service.

All services are provided “as is”.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential all business, technical, and personal information shared during the project.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

12. Amendments

Basea Media reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
